This Privacy Policy explains how BookedNG collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the BookedNG platform.
By using BookedNG, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
"BookedNG" means the BookedNG platform, its websites, software, applications, services, employees, contractors, affiliates, and authorized representatives.
"Service Provider" means any individual, business, association, institution, or entity that lists events, appointments, reservations, venues, experiences, or other services through BookedNG.
"Organizer" means a Service Provider that creates, promotes, manages, or operates an event listed through BookedNG.
"Vendor" means a Service Provider that offers appointments, reservations, venues, experiences, or other bookable services through BookedNG.
"Customer" means any person who buys, books, reserves, receives, transfers, holds, or uses any ticket, appointment, reservation, or other entitlement issued through BookedNG.
"Booking" means any event ticket, appointment, reservation, venue booking, experience booking, or other transaction supported by BookedNG.
"Platform" means the BookedNG technology platform and related services.
2. Who We Are
BookedNG is a technology platform that provides:

Ticketing services
Appointment services
Reservation services
Booking services
Admission tools
Organizer tools
Vendor tools
Payment processing integrations
This Privacy Policy applies to all BookedNG websites, applications, services, and related features.
3. Information We Collect
BookedNG may collect the following categories of information.

Service Provider Information
For organizers, vendors, and other Service Providers, BookedNG may collect:
Business name
Contact person details
Business verification details
Responsible-person government identification documents, document type, issuing body, document or licence number, review status, and expiry date where applicable
CAC registration number and registration documents for registered businesses
Operating address, service-risk declarations, professional licences, qualifications, first-aid or CPR evidence, safeguarding declarations, food-safety evidence, safety plans, insurance evidence, and other compliance documents where applicable to the service
Verification review notes, replacement requests, reminder history, and records of whether verification was completed manually or through an approved verification provider
BookedNG does not collect provider selfies or run automated face-to-ID matching while the provider verification process is manual. If automated identity or liveness checks are introduced later, BookedNG will give an appropriate notice before collecting the additional information.
Provider profile information, listing content, listing images and related media details, and review response records

4. Payment Information
Payments may be processed by approved payment providers such as Paystack.
BookedNG does not store payment card details.
BookedNG may store:

for operational, financial, compliance, and support purposes.
5. How We Use Information
BookedNG uses information to:
Create and manage accounts

Confirm bookings and appointments

6. Information Shared with Service Providers
For events, appointments, reservations, or services purchased or booked through BookedNG, Service Providers may receive information needed to deliver the specific service.
This may include:
Customer name
Booking, ticket, appointment, or reservation information
Order information necessary for service administration
Customer contact details where the workflow requires disclosure after payment or confirmation
For a confirmed paid or subscription appointment, the selected appointment vendor receives the customer's verified email and WhatsApp number so the vendor can administer and deliver that appointment.
An unconfirmed unpaid appointment slot request does not release the customer's email, phone number, or location to the vendor and does not reserve the requested time.
BookedNG limits phone and email disclosure where the service does not require it.
Service Providers are responsible for protecting customer information they receive.
Service Providers may only use customer information for lawful service administration purposes unless appropriate marketing consent exists.
7. Marketing Communications
BookedNG may send:
Ticket confirmations
Transaction notifications
Event reminders
Experience booking and review reminders where enabled
Security notices
Service announcements
Account-related notices
These are operational communications and may be necessary for service delivery.
Marketing communications will only be sent where appropriate consent has been obtained.
Users may opt out of marketing communications where applicable.
8. Service Provider Communications
Service Providers may communicate with customers regarding:
Event updates
Appointment updates
Reservation updates
Service instructions
Event instructions
Venue information
Schedule changes
Service administration
Service Providers may only use customer information for marketing where appropriate consent exists.
9. Consent at Checkout
Where users are asked to accept BookedNG policies before purchase, acceptance may be recorded.
BookedNG may store:
Acceptance timestamp
Email address or user identifier
Document version
Source action
IP address where available
This helps BookedNG maintain records of policy acceptance.
10. Data Retention
BookedNG may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Operate the platform
Meet legal obligations
Resolve disputes
Investigate fraud
Maintain financial records
Enforce agreements
Support audit requirements
Retention periods may vary depending on legal, operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
11. Security
BookedNG uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from:

Alteration
However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and authentication credentials.
12. Fraud Prevention and Risk Management
BookedNG may process personal information for:

13. Third-Party Service Providers
BookedNG may use third-party providers to assist with:
Payment processing

These providers may process information on behalf of BookedNG as necessary to provide their services.
Google services may be used for optional Google account sign-in, Google Calendar connections, location suggestions, bot and abuse prevention through reCAPTCHA, and consent-based site analytics through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
Optional analytics scripts load only after a user accepts analytics. BookedNG does not intentionally send booking answers, payment details, account contact details, support messages, or other form contents to analytics.
Users may decline optional analytics and continue using BookedNG. Necessary authentication, security, payment, booking and fraud-prevention processing is not controlled by the optional analytics choice.
A provider who connects Google Calendar authorises BookedNG to create, update and remove calendar entries for eligible BookedNG bookings. Calendar access can be disconnected from the provider dashboard.
14. Legal Disclosures
BookedNG may disclose information where required to:
Comply with applicable laws
Respond to lawful requests
Enforce agreements
Protect users
Protect the platform
Prevent fraud
Protect legal rights
15. Your Rights
Subject to applicable laws, users may request:
Access to personal information
Correction of inaccurate information
Deletion of information where applicable
Privacy-related assistance
Certain information may be retained where required by law, financial obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legitimate business needs.
16. Account Deletion & Data Retention
Users may request deletion of their BookedNG account through available account controls or official BookedNG support channels.
Account deletion is reviewed before completion because BookedNG may need to preserve records connected to tickets, bookings, payments, payouts, refunds, disputes, support cases, fraud prevention, legal obligations, tax or accounting obligations, and audit trails.
Where deletion is approved, BookedNG may delete, disable, archive, or anonymise account information depending on the type of record and the applicable retention requirement.
Deletion of an account may not remove transaction records, admission records, settlement records, provider records, legal acknowledgements, support conversations, or security logs where retention remains necessary.
If a user has active bookings, open support cases, pending refunds, unresolved disputes, provider responsibilities, admin access, payout obligations, or fraud/security reviews, BookedNG may delay deletion until those matters are closed or retained safely.
Users may lose access to dashboards, saved drafts, booking history, tickets, provider tools, review tools, and communication preferences after deletion or anonymisation is completed.
BookedNG will not use retained records for new marketing after an account deletion request is completed, unless a separate lawful basis or consent applies.
17. Children
BookedNG is not intended for use by individuals who are legally unable to enter binding agreements under applicable law without appropriate supervision or authorization.
Parents or guardians are responsible for purchases or platform use by minors under their supervision.
18. International Transfers
Some service providers used by BookedNG may process information in locations outside Nigeria.
Where such processing occurs, BookedNG will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
19. Relationship to Other Policies
This Privacy Policy should be read together with:

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Service Provider Agreement where applicable
Appointment Booking Policy where applicable
Where conflicts arise, applicable laws shall prevail.
20. Changes to this Privacy Policy
BookedNG may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the platform.
Continued use of BookedNG after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
