BOOKEDNG REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Version 1.1 - Effective 4 July 2026
Last Updated: 4 July 2026
Version: 1.1
This document applies across BookedNG verticals unless a more specific policy is listed in a service detail.
1. General principles
Refunds are generally tied to your listing-level rules.
BookedNG provides booking and ticketing infrastructure, not execution of the underlying service.
2. Event-related tickets
Refunds for event tickets follow event listing terms and this Refund Policy.
Events may offer:
fully refundable tickets
partly refundable tickets
non-refundable tickets
transfer-based redemption rules
Each event listing should state applicable refund treatment clearly.
3. Appointments and booking deposits
Appointment cancellation and refund handling follow the booking model selected by provider and event rules.
For no-show and late-cancel handling, providers should define clear policy details in listing descriptions.
Where no rule is visible, refunds follow default BookedNG transaction handling.
4. Experiences
Saved Experience booking details do not create a confirmed booking and do not create refund rights until checkout and payment are successfully completed where payment is required.
Experience cancellation and refund handling may depend on the listing policy, session timing, provider cancellation, customer cancellation timing, safety restrictions, waiver acknowledgements, and support review.
Confirmed Experience bookings may be subject to cancellation, refund, dispute, settlement hold, and review preflight checks before any action is completed.
Where an Experience involves risk, physical activity, travel, venue access, age limits, equipment, weather dependency, or third-party provider rules, customers should review the listing and waiver notices before booking.
5. Cancellations
If you cancel or materially change a confirmed booking, you must take reasonable steps to notify affected customers.
Where cancellation is initiated by the platform or safety/legal action, BookedNG may intervene for user protection.
6. Timing
Refunds may take varying time depending on payment processor timelines.
Refunds are commonly processed to the original payment method or wallet process where supported.
7. Non-refundable matters
Certain charges are generally not refundable after successful completion, such as attendance no-shows without protective policy terms.
User convenience changes without a clear provider-backed policy are handled case-by-case.
8. Failed and reversed payments
Failed, reversed, or incomplete payments do not generate a valid ticket or booking entitlement.
In such cases BookedNG may void or cancel the order record and hold no claim obligations on the user side.
9. Dispute path
If you disagree with a platform refund decision, open a support dispute and include:
Order or booking reference
Payment reference
Cancellation context
Evidence of service delivery status
10. Relationship to other policies
This Policy is linked to:
BookedNG Terms of Service
BookedNG Service Provider Agreement
BookedNG Appointment Booking Policy
Experience listing policies and waiver notices where applicable
Where it conflicts, applicable laws will prevail.
11. Changes
Updated versions supersede previous versions for future purchases and bookings.
You should review this policy periodically.
